The servers were pleasant and there is a nice bay-side patio. The food however was not very good. If you are looking for a drink on a nice evening sure, but pass for dinner.
Had to check it out after Oak Island! Local gem. Mahone Bay is beautiful. What a great community. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Had a quick pint and hit the road. Would defo go back. Lovely patio overlooks the water!
You feel like you have stepped below deck on a privateer. The oak beams, the uneven floors, and sounds of the sea. Arrhh!!! The seafood platter was HEAVY on the seafood, who doesn't like that! The choice of local beers, excellent! And the service, friendly, fast and efficient.
Honestly, we only went because of the show Curse of Oak Island but; Wow! This place is great! Food is excellent and the staff are very friendly!
Twice here this summer. Once on motorcycke trip with an Edmontonian, then car trip with my wife today. Seafood Chowder of the day is true Fisherman approved. I'm a fisherman. Its how chowder should taste on the east coast. Last trip i had mussel chowder it was as good too. They do in-house bread pudding. Huge serving... enough for two. It was pretty good. Lots of beer choices. I think this is where the crew from Curse Of Oak Island have taped shows. As i was told they videoed there just 3 days ago a meeting for the show.
